Chapter Ate
Chapter Ate is a mixed use development done with Grace Tybor that combined a bookstore with a coffee shop and included four apartments (two 1 bed 1 bath and two 2 bed 1 bath) upstairs. The lot was set on King's Street in St. Augustine FL adjacent to San Sebastian River and Winery. The design was meant to draw out Flagler College students, tourists and First responders since there was a fire and police station nearby.
Log Cabin
This Log Cabin was set in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Since this Cabin was set in the Rockies, Western Red Cedar was used for the wood due to the moist climate of the Mountains. The roof also has a steep pitch to cut through snow and rain and to reduce the percentage that the roof could collapse into itself. Furthermore, there are solar panels on the South and West elevations to use solar energy.
